Web32a charger dropping down to 16a, but if I stop and restart the charger, it jumps back to 32a before eventually dropping to 16a again Anyone have any what this might be? Never had this problem before, just noticed it tonight. 8kw charger (UK), but app reports 4kw/16a, but will go back up to 8kw/32a if I stop and start the charge from the Tesla app

WebAug 15, 2024 · It was going back to the UMC expecting 32, which stepped down to 16. I think the key here, regardless, the step down was in a 16A increment which points to 1/3 of the charging unit potentially having a fault. I don't know how it decides which 2/3 to use when using a UMC if it varies or if it is always the same 2/3.
