You could just put some superglue to seal up the two small holes on the end of the pen, and it could be possible. It has six rows of threads, which is enough, and you could just apply some silicone grease on it.

Lamy Safari feels more durable than the Kakuno, but I love Japanese fine nibs and the Kakuno grip for writing formulas.
