WebApr 3, 2015 · I know nothing about Weber carbs but if I were you, I'd remove the air cleaner, actuate the throttle (or have your assistant rapidly push the accelerator pedal) and look for a strong jet of fuel squirting down into the carb. The engine is a 350 with Vortec heads, Comp 268H cam, air-gap intake, and new Holley 4160 600cfm (list # 0-80457s). I've been tuning the car with a AEM wideband, which by the way has proven to be incredibly useful.

WebJan 3, 2010 · That's usually a lean condition. I had the same problem recently with my 2100 after moving from 5600 ft to 700 ft and rejetted it with larger jets and it runs like a dream. To bring the curb idle back to the ideal spot of uncovering about 0.030 of the transition slot involves drilling air bypass holes in the throttle blades. maggie blackmon deathWebSep 18, 2009 · With the new .033 jet it did not take as much turn one way or the other on the idle mixture screw to get it to stumble. If I turn the idle mixture screw a 1/2 turn in it stumbles and if I turn it a 1/2 turn out it stumbles so I set it in the middle.
